ID3 Forge ("the App") is an Android application for editing ID3 metadata tags on MP3 files. Your privacy is important, and the App is designed to respect it fully.

Data Collection

ID3 Forge does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. The App has no internet permission and operates entirely offline.

What the App Accesses

The App accesses only the files and folders you explicitly select through Android's Storage Access Framework. Specifically:

• MP3 files you choose to edit
• Folders you grant access to for browsing

All file access is scoped to your selections and governed by Android's permission system. The App cannot access files or folders you have not granted permission to.

Data Storage

The App stores your preferences (theme, accent color) and editing session state locally on your device using Android's standard app storage. This data is private to the App and is deleted when you uninstall it.

Third-Party Services

ID3 Forge uses no third-party services. There are no analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs of any kind.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
